Even though it is a small community, Ruthven has several amenities to be proud of!! It does have its own community school housing grades kindergarten through 12th; a public park and swimming pool, a public library, its own fire department, an ambulance service, a community care facility complete with assisted and independent living units, and 5 local churches. Lost Island Lake is also located close by providing opportunities for swimming, boating, fishing, and camping. There is also the annual Bully Bullhead Weekend event providing fun for the entire family.
