CABIN FEVER WEEKEND
FISHING CONTEST WINNERS:
Darrel Frerichs of Ruthven captured 1st place in the Walleye division with his 1.5 lb walleye and was awarded $90!!
Kenny Mason of Fostoria won the panfish division with his .52 lb crappie and also won $90!!
A 1.98 lb crappie was caught by Eric Walstien of Mt. Vernon, Iowa. Unfortunately, he was not registered in the tournament.
SNOWMAN CONTEST WINNERS:
1st Place: Madison Schnetzer and Taylor Rouse created a winning entry of the "Frosty's", a singing group appearing at 1804 Bruce Street!
2nd Place: Ashton and Avery Wooten of 1303 Lincoln Street took second place with their mother snowman and two kids, one bundled for the sub-zero temperatures and the other sporting sunglasses and a bikini!
3rd Place-Tie: Elsie and Lucas Rouse at 1305 Stewart tied for 3rd place with their snowman cook, complete with hot holder and measuring cups!
3rd Place-Tie: Brad, Emily, and Madeline Knapp at 1107 Main tied for 3rd place with their Wizard of Oz entry, complete with Dorothy, the tin man, the cowardly lion, and the scarecrow following the yellow brick road!
