A $100.00 Connecting Fee is charged to all new accounts.
Water Rates:
$8.50 Basice Service Charge Per Month
$.20 per 100 Gallons Used
Sewer Rates:
$7.50 Basic Service Charge Per Month
$2.35 Per Unit of Water Used Each Month (a unit 1000 gallons)
Garbage Rates:
$11.00 Per Month for a Single Person Household (one container)
$13.00 Per Month for a Multi Person Household (two containers)
All solid wasted place for collections shall be placed at the curb in containers not exceeding 32 gallon capacity and of a weight not exceeding 50 lbs.
Garbage is collected every Thursday morning and needs to be out by the curb by 8 a,m. Reccyling is the second Friday of each month. These items also need to be curbside by 8 a.m.
If you wish to place additional containers out for collection, you may purchase stickers from the city clerk at the cost of $2.00 per sticker. One sticker is needed per bag or container.
All utilities and garbage are billed together. Billing goes out on or around the 1st of each month, with the total due by the 15th. After the 15th, the account is considered delinquent with an additional $5.00 penalty being added. Accounts will be disconnected on the last working day of each month. To reconnect, all past due amounts will need to be paid plus an additional $50.00 reconnect fee.
Dogs:
All dogs are to be licensed; the fee is $3.00. You must bring proof of current vaccinations to get your pet license.
