The Ruthven Public library is a free public library serving the residents of Ruthven and rural Palo Alto County. Everyone is encouraged to have a library card and borrowers under 18 must have a parent's signature. The library's website has information concerning its governing board; visitors can access the library's catalog on the web, and the library's digitized collection of the local newspaper.
